Troubleshooting the Common Application

The Common Application is divided into two parts: 

  • In Part One, you will complete your Organizational Profile. Please note, the only way to view available funding opportunities on the platform is to complete and publish your organizational profile. 
  • In Part Two, you will submit your application to a specific, suitable funding opportunity. Some funders require applicants to answer up to 3 supplemental questions and provide documents pertaining to the organization. If the funder requires this, you will need to provide responses to these questions in order to submit the application. 

If you attempt to save your Organizational Profile or submit an application without completing all required fields, you’ll receive an error message preventing you from proceeding. Examples pictured below:

If you run into any technical issues while completing Part 1 and 2 of the Common Application, please first check for any missing required fields, and refresh the page, browser, and your computer, if needed.

How do I submit an application to other funding opportunities?

After you’ve completed your Organizational Profile and applied to your first grant opportunity on JustFund, you can continue fundraising by applying to other grant opportunities on the platform

How do I update my profile information for my Common Application?

To update your profile, click on your name in the top menu bar and fill out all the sections under the Details and Media tabs.
