What types of supplemental questions and attachments can I ask for in my RFP?

You have the option, if necessary for your decision-making, to ask 3 optional or required supplemental questions as part of your RFP, as well as require 3 optional or required additional attachments. 

You can choose between a paragraph-style question (text box response) or a checkbox question (multi-answer response). 

For a paragraph-style question, select the “paragraph” button and enter your question. You can set the question as “required” by toggling on the “required” button, if not the question will remain optional.

For a checkbox style question, select the “Checkboxes” button and enter your question. You’ll then have the option to add up to 10 options as responses. You can set the question as “required” by toggling on the “required” button, if not the question will remain optional.

Here are some example Supplemental Question Suggestions. As a reminder, here are the fields that will have previously been filled by the applicant in their JustFund Common Application.:

  • What are your expected outcomes/measures of success?
  • Please list any partner organizations that are supporting your work.
  • How do you center DEI issue areas and movements in your work?
  • How would you describe the ways your work builds power in your community?

To request required or optional attachments, click on the“Yes” button. You will then enter the name of the attachment you’d like the applicant to submit with their application. You can set the attachment as “required” by toggling on the “required” button, if not submitting the attachment will remain optional. You can request up to 3 attachments per RFP.
