JustFund is the nation's first — and only — giving platform built around a common application, designed to move money quickly and equitably to communities. Complete your JustFund Common Application™ profile once and use it to apply to multiple funding opportunities — no starting from scratch each time.

Once published, your JustFund Common Application™ profile:

  • Becomes discoverable to funders via JustFund Search, a repository of all JustFund Common Application™ profiles from projects, organizations, and funds seeking funding.
  • Unlocks access to apply to funding opportunities on JustFund.
  • Serves as the foundation for every application.

Publish your JustFund Common Application™ profile

  1. Complete all required fields on each profile tab:
    • Overview: Describe your mission, organizational priorities, and include short bios of key team members.
    • Highlight focus areas: Select filters that describe your work to help aligned funders find you.
    • Add financial information: Include your annual operating budget, tax status, and other financials.
    • Personalize your profile: Upload your logo, banner, and media links to help showcase your work.
  2. Click Preview to review before publishing.
  3. Click Publish. Your profile will become discoverable to funders on JustFund Search.

FAQs

  • Do I need a JustFund Common Application™ profile to apply to funding opportunities? Yes, publishing your profile is required before you can access and apply to any opportunity on JustFund.
  • Why can’t I publish my profile? Usually a required field is left blank. Check each tab and ensure all required fields are completed.
  • Can I update my profile after publishing? Yes, you can make updates to your profile at any time. Once your profile is published, any new updates made will display on your profile immediately.
  • Who can view my JustFund Common Application™ profile? Your published profile is discoverable to funders with paid user-logins via JustFund Search. Your financial information is only visible to funders who have committed funds to you — protecting sensitive information including your check address.
  • If I update my profile, will existing application content be overwritten? Applications preserve a record of key profile information at the date/time of submission, including annual budget, mission statement, organization description, and team description. Other profile fields (e.g. filters, financial information, contact information, etc.) update in real time, even on submitted applications.

  • Complete your profile as fully as possible: a complete profile increases your visibility, builds trust, and opens doors to new funding opportunities and partnerships.
  • Focus your profile narrative on your organization as a whole: save opportunity-specific content for your application responses.
  • Review your profile at least twice a year to keep it accurate and relevant to funders.
